Decentralized perpetual trading for forex, commodities, indices & crypto
Ostium App is a decentralized perpetual trading protocol that enables users to trade real-world assets — including forex pairs, gold, oil, stock indices, and cryptocurrencies — directly on-chain with leverage. Powered by an on-chain oracle and a peer-to-pool liquidity model, Ostium App offers transparent, non-custodial trading with no KYC required. Liquidity is provided through the OLP vault, and traders interact with smart contracts deployed on Arbitrum.
Ostium App supports an extensive range of real-world assets. You can trade major and minor forex pairs like EUR/USD, USD/JPY, and GBP/USD; precious metals such as XAU (gold) and XAG (silver); energy commodities including Brent crude and WTI oil; equity indices like US100, SPX500, and others; as well as leading cryptocurrencies including BTC and ETH. The platform continuously expands its market offerings.
There are two main ways to earn on Ostium App. First, you can deposit USDC into the Ostium App vault to receive OLP tokens, which represent your share of the liquidity pool. As a liquidity provider, you earn a portion of all trading fees generated on the platform. Second, active traders earn Ostium App Points by trading on the platform, with bonus multipliers available for trading specific markets during promotional periods. Points may be redeemable for future rewards.
Ostium App is a non-custodial protocol — your funds are managed entirely by audited smart contracts, not a centralized company. However, as with any DeFi protocol, risks exist: smart contract vulnerabilities, oracle manipulation, and the inherent risks of leveraged trading (including liquidation). Always start with small amounts, understand your liquidation price, and never trade more than you can afford to lose. Liquidity providers also bear the risk of trader profitability impacting vault returns.
Getting started with Ostium App is straightforward. Connect a Web3 wallet (such as MetaMask or a Privy-embedded wallet) to the platform, ensure you have USDC on Arbitrum, and deposit collateral to open your first position. Select the market you want to trade, choose your leverage and direction (long or short), and confirm the transaction. You can monitor all your open positions, pending orders, and trade history directly from the Portfolio page.
